WebGL Visualizer Prototype

I worked as the frontend developer on a major iteration of World of painting’s product.We took the platform in a bold new direction, focusing on becoming the best tool for visiting Gallary virtually using WebGL.

The problem

In 2020, Kodakiwski conceived of a site for virtually visiting his works of art, and I started a project to realize his idea. The old platform was built in HTML, CSS and Javascript, and there were a number of technical experience problems to solve in the process of moving the platform to WebGL. The primary goals for the project are that people visit the gallery via Internet.

3D visualization Design

Animation was a core principle in making the authoring experience a more understandable process. Elements animate in ways that indicate the cause and effect of each interaction to improve the fluidity of the overall experience.

Next-generation 3D visualization experiences

Thanks to the product`s 3D effect, visitors can fully enjoy artworks on the Internet without going to a gallery.

Bringing 3D into viewing

One really cool example is the 3D screen. Visitors can go to any room and view the paintings they want to see.

Interactivity

Visitors can be directed to specific parts of the room and viewd painting. They’re also able to click and drag to orbit around and freely explore at any time.
